As the San Francisco 49ers take on the Kansas City Chiefs in the Super Bowl, fans may know the significant others of Chiefs stars (namely Taylor Swift), but what about the 49ers? Before this season started, quarterback Brock Purdy got engaged to Jenna Brandt.
As he plays in the biggest game of his career, here's everything you need to know about Purdy's fiancée, Jenna Brandt:
She's from Iowa.
Jenna was born October 26, 1999 to parents Kevin and Amy Brandt. She has two older siblings, Kaylyn and Isaiah, and a younger sister, Morgan, and went to Sumner-Fredericksburg High School. There, she played on the volleyball team.
"Family time is big to me. I love hanging out with my family," Brandt said in August 2018. She added, "I also like to volunteer around the community."
She played volleyball in college.
Jenna played for Iowa State, then transferred to Northern Iowa in January 2021. She graduated from Northern Iowa in 2022, with a degree in movement and exercise science.
Purdy also attended Iowa State, so they overlapped for two years there, but it's unclear when they started dating. In a post in November 2023, she wrote, "Back where it all started🌪️" at Jack Trice Stadium at Iowa State, so we can guess they got together in college.
She went Instagram-official with Purdy in November 2022.
"My roots and my boy," Brandt wrote on a snap of her and Purdy at her family's farm.
Brandt and Purdy got engaged in July 2023 in Saint Cloud, Florida, and she had her bachelorette parry in January 2024 in Telluride, Colorado. It's unclear if they have a wedding date yet—but likely this year.
She's a regular at Niners games.
Brandt is a fixture at 49ers games, and can be spotted cheering on her fiancée.
