“There are so many benefits with adopting pets,” said WCAC Assistant Director, Scott Pieper.  “It saves lives and reduces the homeless pet population, but also gives adopters access to resources through the shelter, many at no cost. Not only are all of our adopted cats and dogs spayed or neutered, microchipped and current on vaccinations, but we also have safety net programs such as behavior training classes and consultations that help adopters work through any issues they may encounter after getting their new pet home.”

The adoption event will take place Saturday, October 14 from 10 am to 5 pm and Sunday, October 15 from 12 pm to 5 pm.
