Meadow Walker Posted a Touching Tribute to Her Late Father, Paul Walker

Nearly six years after The Fast and the Furious actor Paul Walker died in a car accident at the age of 40, his daughter, Meadow shared a touching tribute on her Instagram account. The star’s daughter posted a pic on her social media on Saturday, August 17, showing her dad in a clear body of water next to a pig. He was grinning from ear-to-ear, looking blissfully happy in that moment. “Thinking of you xx,” her caption read on the sentimental post.

The 20-year-old doesn’t have much on her Instagram account – only 12 photos, in fact – but she has three other posts dedicated to her dad. Her last one was shared on his birthday, September 12, 2017, featuring a pic of her as a small child dancing with her father. In the wake of his death, Meadow founded the Paul Walker Foundation, an organization that empowers younger generations in the fight to protect oceans and wildlife, and she has promoted “doing good” through her social media, as well.

“In honor of my dad’s birthday today, we’re challenging you to DO GOOD,” she said in her caption two years ago. “Share a video or photo of your random act of kindness and nominate [four] people to join the challenge! Be sure to tag the foundation as well as hashtag #PWFdogoodchallenge so we can check out all of your posts!”

Meadow launched the Paul Walker Foundation in 2015, two years after her father died. “Reflecting on my father, I found myself reflecting on his passions,” she said that year while announcing the organization. “His passion for the ocean, his passion for rescuing animals, his passion for helping people and his passion for spontaneous goodwill. I wanted to start this foundation because I want to share that piece of him with the world.”

We’re so inspired by Meadow taking this tragic event in her life and turning it into something that could help both people and animals, ensuring that Paul and his legacy will never be forgotten.
