McSki- The World's Only Ski-Thru McDonald's

When we were kids, the biggest prank ever was to walk through the McDonald's drive-thru. It was a small town in Maine, how'd you guess?

At any rate, now my (and maybe other rural babies) childhood dreams can come true on the mountain, as the McSki (aka McDonalds Lindvallen) is open for business.

The McSki has been operating for many seasons; their first appearance on Instagram was to announce their 20/21 season and proved to be a hit. A tad bit surprising, as Sweden always strikes one as a health-minded place.

Clearly, not even the Swedes are above craving a hot, juicy, burger after a good session while your legs burn and your eyelashes are frozen together.

Located in Lindvallen, a resort with 50 lifts and plenty of beginner terrain (which is perfect for not spilling hot cocoa all over your fresh kit). Oh yeah, because there's also a McCafe inside!

Sometimes the McSki has ice couches outside. Sometimes a "McRudolph" hands out Christmas presents.

All of this without even unbuckling your boots.

Maybe this is why the McSki has the highest reviews of any McDonalds, maybe ever.

From TripAdvisor: "This McDonalds is very nice inside."

Another reviewer wrote, "located right at the bottom of the mountain, its ideal for its convenience as you can literally ski in from the bottom of the piste, with ski holders and helmet holders inside and out to accommodate your skiing needs."

By the way, Swedish phrases translated into English are kind of a meme.

"Finally some snow, look how nice it lays on our restaurant ☃️ You haven't missed that we are open at 10-17 on Sundays? 🤩 The doors are unlocked for the day and you are, as always, welcome into the warmth. See you later ❤️"

Maybe Sweden is just a really friendly place. My McDonalds never talks to me like that.

The food looks kind of fake. But I'm afraid the stoke is very, very real.
