McDonald’s is selling a Spam burger with Oreo cookie crumbs and mayo
While McDonald’s is known for its steadfast menu full of fan favourites (what would the world be without the Big Mac?), it does like to mix it up with some eclectic options from time to time.

London analyst, Daniel Ahmad who covers the video games market in China and across Asia, tweeted: “McDonalds China is introducing a new Oreo x Spam burger on December 21. There will be 400,000 produced and sold.
“(Look, I saw this so you have to see it too. Sorry, that's how it works),” he added.

While many users were quick to voice their distaste at the new product, some jumped in offering odd combinations from other countries around the world.

One user said: “Scottish here and we love fried Mars bars and fried chicken. It is a tradition here.”
Another added: “It isn't too different from this KFC donut sandwich sold in the US.”
Twitter user, @pwdvod posted a TikTok video of him trying the new burger and he said: “It’s actually not bad.”

He added that the Oreo and mayonnaise was like “Oreo milk” so it “kind of worked in a strange way”.

While we’re not yet convinced, the burgers are on limited release in China, so we likely won’t see them on British menus any time soon.
