Christmas may be months away, but that hasn't stopped McDonald's from giving out the gifts early. While this gift they're giving us technically isn't free, it still is the star of this week's episode of my "If It's Free, It's For Me" series. And trust me, it's just as good.
If you were wondering when the buy one, get one for $1 deal would make its arrival back to your local McDonald's, that time is now. The deal is back in action, so if you weren't quite sure what you'd be eating for lunch today, here's a little nudge to move you in the right direction. The national deal—which is only around for a limited time—requires you to purchase one Big Mac, Quarter Pounder with Cheese, Filet-O-Fish, or a 10-piece Chicken McNuggets at regular price and as a result, you get to add another one on for just $1. Want to know the best part? You can mix-and-match your choices! As long as the second item you choose isn't more than the first one you ordered, the deal is on. So basically, you'll have one to eat yourself and one to give away to your friend (or one to keep for dinner later!).
