ST. LOUIS — The sliced bagels at one St. Louis area fast food chain have certainly received a lot of attention on social media. McDonald’s is bringing bagel sandwiches back to local menus. It’s an item that you may only find in St. Louis and a few other cities.

Starting Monday, April 1, many St. Louis area McDonald’s restaurants launched new bagel breakfast items. This includes all 149 stores in the McDonald’s of Metropolitan St. Louis Co-Op. The bagels have not been on the menu since 2020.

The bagel sandwiches are not available nationwide. They are being offered in select markets. St. Louis is one of them.

The new bagel menu includes steak egg and cheese, sausage egg and cheese, and bacon egg and cheese bagels. Fans can also purchase a plain bagel and vegetarians can enjoy an egg and cheese bagel.
