McDonald’s Has a Secret Menu Brunch Burger—Here’s How to Order It

If you love McDonald’s breakfast and McDonald’s lunch, we’re about to blow your mind with this secret menu item. It’s hacks like these that make us love the internet even more.

TikToker Jordan_The_Stallion8 recently shared a video claiming McDonald’s has a secret menu that features a brunch burger—aptly called the McBrunch Burger. The sandwich is a double cheeseburger topped with hash browns, eggs, and bacon, and it’s blowing up on TikTok.

However, there is one catch with the McBrunch Burger, you can only order it during that small window of time when McDonald’s stops selling breakfast and starts selling lunch, which is typically between 10:30 a.m. and 11 a.m. That’s why some people also refer to the burger as the Mc10:35.

A burger like this actually exists at McDonald's restaurants in Australia. It's called the Big Brekkie Burger and is a double cheeseburger topped with bacon, hash brown, egg, and barbecue sauce. But, if you don't want to fly around the globe to try it, you'll have to order it from the secret menu.

While some of these “secret menu” hacks are too good to be true, Jordan_The_Stallion8’s comments section was flooded with people who have tried the burger or former employees who confirmed that it exists at their location.

“That McBrunch burger hits hard. As a former McDonald’s employee I used to do this during my break,” one comment said.

And, if you search “McBrunch Burger” on TikTok, you’ll find dozens of videos of people successfully ordering it from their McDonald’s. Naturally, I had to put the menu hack to the test to see if the McBrunch Burger really does exist.

How to Order McDonald’s McBrunch Burger

First things first, you can’t order the McBrunch Burger until after McDonald’s starts serving lunch. I went through my drive-thru at exactly 10:30 when the menu switches over, but TikTokers have said you have about a 20- to 30-minute buffer to order the burger.

I asked the employee if they had the McBrunch Burger, and to my embarrassment, he said he had no idea what I was talking about. Luckily, I was the only person in the drive-thru line, so I explained what the so-called McBrunch Burger is.

The employee responded that he didn’t know what it was, but that he could still make it for me. So, he rang me up for a Double Cheeseburger with a “special request.”

Despite the extra request, the burger came out just as quickly as any other McDonald’s food and I was on my way.

With that being said, if you want to try the McBrunch Burger, I would suggest not ordering it by its name. Instead, order a Double Cheeseburger and ask them to add a round egg, a hash brown, and bacon to it. Unfortunately, unlike TikTok’s claims that this burger costs $5, I was charged for each addition, bringing the total cost to about $10.

In terms of taste, the McBrunch Burger surprised me with just how delicious it was. It was a pretty monstrous burger, so you do get a lot for what you paid, and it was very flavorful. Egg and bacon on a burger has been done before, but some people might scoff at the hash brown. As someone who comes from a city where we put French fries on sandwiches and salads, it felt right on brand, so don’t knock it.

I certainly don't think it’s something I’d order every time I go to Mickey D’s—but it would definitely taste good after a night out, paired with a McDonald’s Diet Coke.

If you are going to order the McBrunch Burger, please be patient with the employees. It’s not their job to make you something off-menu, so a little kindness goes a long way with these menu hacks.
