McDonald’s Is Releasing a McFlurry That’s Filled With Caramel and Brownie Pieces
It’s always a good day when McDonald’s decides to add a new dessert to its menu. This time around, it’s the Caramel Brownie McFlurry that’s just as indulgent and full of sweet ingredients as you’d expect.
Just like any McFlurry, it starts with creamy vanilla soft-serve. This one is blended with brownie pieces and caramel topping, so you get that chocolatey caramel combination that we all know goes together so well. Maybe it’ll take the top spot for your favorite McFlurry! Sorry, Oreo and M&M’s.
The new Caramel Brownie McFlurry will hit the menu in honor of the warmer weather on May 3. It’ll be available at participating restaurants for a limited time while supplies last, so procrastinating on going to the drive-thru is simply not an option.
“As our fans rejoice in the changing of the seasons, we’re excited to give them a new way to enjoy our most iconic dessert,” Chad Schafer, McDonald’s senior director of culinary, said in a press release. “In fact, the flavors in our new Caramel Brownie McFlurry are inspired by that first-warm-day-of-the-year feeling.”
If this McFlurry flavor sounds vaguely familiar to you, then you must be a McDonald’s super fan! While this is the first time it’ll be available in the U.S., it originally debuted in 2017 in Canada, which is the birthplace of the McFlurry.
