As if we weren’t already jealous of the Kit Kat McFlurry that keeps popping up in Japan, now we have another variety to lust after. The Kit Kat Ruby McFlurry adds a pink fruity flair to the frozen treat, and it has just hit McDonald’s Germany.

Kit Kat, which is run by Nestlé in other countries, first came out with the Ruby Kit Kats in January 2018 in Japan and Korea, followed by hitting Europe in April 2018. The naturally rosy pink chocolate is made from ruby cocoa beans, and has a berry flavor. So it’s a whole new experience from your typical chocolate Kit Kat.

Now back to the Kit Kat Ruby McFlurry. It’s made with soft-serve ice cream and that’s mixed with chopped up Ruby Kit Kat pieces and raspberry sauce. Unlike a typical Kit Kat McFlurry, which includes chunks of Kit Kat and chocolate sauce, the Ruby version is concentrated on those fruity flavors.

McDonald’s Germany has other McFlurry flavors that are making us salivate, too. There’s one with brownie chunks and caramel sauce, another with Toblerone pieces and chocolate sauce, and one with colorful chocolate lentils and raspberry sauce. There’s even the option to build your own with one of the four toppings (Kit Kat Ruby, Toblerone pieces, brownie pieces, and chocolate lentils) and three sauces (raspberry, caramel, and chocolate).

We’re just as sad as you are that this appears to be a McDonald’s Germany-exclusive item. It was the same feeling when we found out about the Blueberry Cream Cheese Pie and Popcorn Caramel Ice Cream. All we can do is hope that the U.S. takes a few tips from other countries, because they’re on their dessert A game.
