McDonald’s Just Unveiled a Little and Double Big Mac, So Your Level of Hunger Is Covered
Don’t want to eat an entire Big Mac from McDonald’s? Or do you actually want to eat more than a Big Mac provides? There’s a burger for that! The fast food chain has two new versions of the Special Sauce-slathered bite that will satisfy any stomach.
Beginning on March 11 at McDonald’s locations nationwide, you can pick up a Little Mac and Double Big Mac, in addition to the classic Big Mac. The new burgers are available for a limited time, so hit the drive-thru STAT!
A typical Big Mac has two pure beef patties, American cheese, lettuce, onions, pickles, and Special Sauce on a sesame seed bun. The Little Mac is simply a mini version of the classic burger sandwich, with the Special Sauce and all the toppings. If you’re really hungry, the Double Big Mac packs in four pure beef patties, along with the Special Sauce and toppings. Now you can have a Big Mac no matter your level of hunger!
In January 2017, McDonald’s released the Mac Jr. and Grand Mac, which had the same idea as the Little Mac and Double Big Mac. They reappeared a year later under the same names, but it’s been a couple years since they’ve been back.
“The Big Mac is more than a burger — over the past 50 years it has become an international icon and a consistent favorite for our fans,” Linda VanGosen, vice president of menu innovation, said in a press release. “We’re excited to give them new ways to enjoy the burger they love and satisfy fan cravings of all sizes with three delicious Big Mac options.”
But that’s not all! McDonald’s teased that more Big Mac innovations are on the way. What else could they possibly do? Add twice the amount of Special Sauce? Deep-fry the Big Mac? Dress it in gold glitter? We’re open to (and hungry for) any and all possibilities.
