You know (and probably love) McDonald’s Baked Apple Pie that's sprinkled with sugar topping, but did you know that there’s a Christmas version? McDonald’s Holiday Pie has been popping up at different locations, signaling its delicious return for the 2019 holiday season.

The seasonal offering consists of creamy vanilla custard inside a buttery crust that is glazed with sugar and topped with rainbow sprinkles. It sounds more like a birthday celebration treat than one you would eat around Christmas, but who are we to complain about when a dreamy dessert comes our way?

Apparently, the treat first came out around 2012, and, although it’s become a fan favorite, franchise owners have the choice whether to bring them back or not. A bunch of people have taken to social media to broadcast that the Holiday Pie has landed at a McDonald’s location by them — so let the hunt begin!

While you’re stocking up on Holiday Pies, McDonald’s also has a new Snickerdoodle McFlurry to bring the taste of the holidays to a beloved treat. It’s a mix of vanilla soft-serve and sweet cinnamon cookie, so, yes, we’ll be ordering one of those, as well.
