McDonald’s Is Giving Out Free Coffee This Week For You And A Friend
We've all seen the feel good stories about the do-gooder who pays for the orders of everyone in the drive-through. Though many of us will never be so lucky to experience this IRL, McDonald's is making a bit easier this week to give someone else a free coffee (and get one for yourself, too).
To celebrate the 10th anniversary of its McCafé, McDonald's is giving out 500 "pay it forward" cards (cleverly called McCafé It Forward, obvs) that can be used Wednesday, August 21, through Friday, August 23. The card, if you get one, gets you a free small coffee and the chance to give it to your friend, pass it back in line, or just leave it for someone else to use.
The person who gets it next can also pass it along to someone else, who can then pass it along to someone else, do you see where this is going? Basically, if you get one of these cards, you shouldn't throw it away when you're done because it can mean a free coffee for a whole bunch of other people.
In addition to this feel-good giveaway, you can also nominate someone in your life to be a "Brew-Gooder," aka someone who should be recognized for the good they do for others. If they win, you and your nominee will get free McCafé for life! That's a lot of frappes...
Basically, there's a lot in this McCafé anniversary celebration that will make you feel warm and fuzzy. Kind of like a free cup of coffee!
