Doing anything on an empty stomach is never the move, especially when it involves participating in a competition where you have to be at your absolute best. At the Westminster Kennel Club dog show, a poodle fueled up with grilled chicken sandwiches from McDonald’s before the second-to-final round. Sure enough, she won!

Siba, the black standard poodle, is on a whole different level of picky. She will not eat anything but chicken. Yes, that includes other meat. There wasn’t any chicken available at the show in Madison Square Garden, so her owner snagged her some grilled chicken sandwiches from a nearby McDonald’s, Market Watch reported.

After enjoying her meal, she won in the nonsporting group. That means she was one of four dogs who qualified for the final Best in Show round. Unsurprisingly, Siba went on to win it all later that day.

Girl is killing it, because this is the fifth time a standard poodle has won Best in Show and the first time since 1991. Often, it goes to a dog from the terrier group.

The lesson we have all learned here today: The key to success is balance! Although you might not be able to be as picky as Siba, you can have fast food before a big competition and still dominate it. It’s fiiiine. You trained. You earned it. Live a little!
