McDonald’s chicken nuggets are free for one day only. Here’s what to know
McDonald’s is giving away free chicken McNuggets — for one day only.
On May 22, McDonald’s rewards members can get a free six-count nuggets when they order in the mobile app, according to the fast-food chain.
No purchase is necessary.
The offer is exclusive to the McDonald’s app and can be redeemed at participating restaurants nationwide. Customers must be MyMcDonald’s Rewards to get the freebie, however.
“This is just the first of the many deals McDonald’s has in store for fans this summer season,” the burger chain said.
Earlier this month, the Wall Street Journal reported on McDonald’s plans to roll out a new $5 meal deal in an effort to woo “cost-conscious customers” amid rising fast-food prices.
The bundle will come with customers’ choice of a McDoulble or McChicken sandwich, fries, a four-count chicken McNuggets and a drink, the newspaper reported. The limited-time deal is set to launch June 25.
