McDonald’s Basket of Fries Is Available at Select Locations, And We're Getting Hungry

If you think McDonald’s fries are the best in the fast-food game, then we’ve got great news for you. A large order of fries just got even larger. In fact, you can now order as many crispy, golden fries as a cardboard boat can hold.

The Basket of Fries—essentially two medium fries served in one rectangular container—is made for easy sharing, but hey, if you want to tackle the portion yourself, we’re not stopping you.

If this fries-in-a-basket offering sound familiar, you might be remembering the Cheesy Bacon Fries the chain released earlier this year (also served in a box).

The crispy fries basket is only available at select McDonald’s locations around the country. So far, they’ve only been spotted in the southern states, including Tennessee, Kentucky, and Alabama.

The basket of fries will be priced around $3, depending on the store’s location.

If you’re stopping by the Golden Arches for a basket of fried potatoes, you can also pick up one of their popular holiday pies for a limited time. These sweet, handheld desserts are filled with warm vanilla custard and crusted with sugar and confetti—and we can’t wait to get our hand(s) on one.
