MCCC's 2024 fine art, literary magazine now available

MONROE — The 38th issue of "IMAGES," Monroe County Community College's fine art and literary magazine, is now available.

The 48-page magazine can be viewed online at tinyurl.com/4d46vawh. This year's publication includes artwork, writing, drawing and poetry from MCCC students and staff.

"IMAGES" been edited for the last five years by Jenna Bazzell, assistant professor of English, and Therese O'Halloran, assistant professor of art.

"Our hope is for you to see what our students have accomplished devoting their time and effort toproducing these works of art," the editors said in the magazine.

The publication was unveiled April 18 at the MCCC Honors Symposium, where more than 40 students offered 10-15 minutes presentations, discussion and demonstrations on a range of topics. Presenters were evaluated by MCCC faculty.

Submissions for the 2025 issue of "IMAGES" will be accepted from MCCC students and staff through February. To submit material or to learn more about the publication, email images@monroeccc.edu.
