The New "Maze Runner: The Death Cure" Trailer Starring Dylan O'Brien Is Here

Dylan O'Brien has had a busy few weeks, first with his new movie American Assassin, and then with the season finale of Teen Wolf. Now he's following it up with the first trailer for Maze Runner: The Death Cure, the last film in the three-part series.

Yep, Thomas is back, and this time the stakes are even higher. He and the other Gladers must band together to find a cure for the "Flare" — or Death, as the title suggests. All the trappings of your typical dystopian film are alive and well here, with the crew fighting off attackers on trains, jumping onto shipping crates that are being airlifted by planes, and running towards their ultimate goal. Though Thomas alleges that "There is no cure!", you'll have to wait until Maze Runner hits theaters on January 26, 2018 to learn if that's true.

All of the car flipping and close calls are bound to make fans's hearts race, not least of all because this was the movie set on which Dylan was critically injured in a stunt gone wrong. In March 2016, news broke that he'd been hit by a vehicle while filming; he understandably took a number of months off, and later credited training for American Assassin as being helpful for his ultimate recovery. Though he says he remembers the accident, he hasn't opened up about it much until recently, telling reporters that he had panic attacks for a while after the incident.
