Full-service packing: If you opt for full-service packing, Mayflower's team of pros will safely box up all your belongings and then load your household goods for you.
Partial packing: If you choose partial packing, you will determine during the quote process which rooms and items you plan to pack yourself and which you want Mayflower to pack.
Custom crating: With custom crating services, special items such as pianos, large mirrors, antiques, and expensive artwork are packed and shipped safely and professionally.
Electronics packing and installation: With Mayflower's electronics packing and installation service, the company will help you disconnect, properly pack, and then reinstall your PC network and home theatre system in your new home.
Unpacking: Mayflower also provides unpacking options that allow you to focus on other elements of your moving process while Mayflower's team unloads and unpacks items from the moving truck.
Moving Protection
Moving protection is a type of insurance that provides compensation if your property is damaged in the course of a move. With any Mayflower Transit package, you are automatically enrolled in its Full Value Protection Plan. This comprehensive moving protection plan insures your belongings at a rate of $6 per pound per item. You may choose to opt out of Mayflower's Full Value Protection plan and still receive Mayflower's Minimum Liability Valuation Option, which offers coverage at the minimum required rate of $0.60 per pound per article.
Storage Services
Mayflower offers storage solutions alongside its packing and moving services. Your moving coordinator can arrange for your items to be stored in a convenient facility while you sell your current home and prepare to move into your new home. Mayflower will deliver your items to your new residence at a time of your choosing.
