The Maybelline New York The Falsies Lash Lift Mascara Replaces Lash Treatments in a Pinch
Of all the innovative beauty treatments in the world, I thoroughly avoid anything lash-related. Extensions, lifts, tints: count me out of them all. Not only do I irrationally fear the thought of putting any non-FDA-approved chemicals or getting fake hairs in and around my eyeballs, but also I'm not willing to give up the meditative powers of swiping on mascara, particularly the Maybelline New York The Falsies Lash Lift Mascara. (Should I bring this up at my next therapy appointment? Maybe.)
Don't even get me started on false lashes either. I'd much rather prefer to spend five minutes meticulously volumizing and lengthening with lashes with mascara than going through the process of gluing on strips of faux mink. It's about as difficult for me to do so as finding the right guy on a dating app. Somehow all my friends can, but I can't. But I digress.
All of this really doesn't matter because The Falsies Lash Lift Mascara gives me the results of all the lash situations I steer clear of. People even ask me if I've gotten a lash perm or lift, but my lashes' artificial lushness is all the work of its incredible (and affordable) brush and formula that is just as amazing, if not better, than ones triple its price.
Every morning, I look forward to sweeping the slightly hourglass-shaped brush through my lashes. Its jet-black pigment has a way of volumizing and extending my lashes at least three centimeters more than they naturally are. Somehow, the mascara also holds a lash lift-like curl so well without any heaviness or clumpiness.
Whenever I dip back into the Maybelline New York The Falsies Lash Lift Mascara's silver tube, it dispenses just the right amount of product I need onto the wand. I never have to wipe off excess and waste its precious formula. Not a drop should be squandered because it's just the right consistency — not too wet so you can't blink for half an hour after putting it on but dries quickly without stiffness and crunchiness. I can easily do layer up an excessive number of coats without worries.
An added bonus is I've mastered applying mascara on my lower lashes, thanks to this mascara. Typically, I'm terrible at doing this with any other product. More pigment usually ends up getting on my undereye area than my fine lower lashes. I've noticed the inward curve of the bristles toward the middle closely hugs my lash line and easily coats the teeny tiny hairs without smudging. The bristles are also shorter in the midsection to limit any possibilities of making a mess.
After taking the time to create my elaborate eye makeup, I can't afford to fuck it up. Zero of my watercolor eye shadow looks, intricate pearl arrangements, or a sprinkling of sparkly stars have met their demise by splatterings of this mascara, though. If anything, the Maybelline New York The Falsies Lash Lift Mascara gives me lush lashes that separate my graphic makeup from face paint.
