Maya Rudolph and Ike Barinholtz Got Everyone's Name Wrong at the Emmys

Awards shows, like tonight's Emmys, love "bits." I don't know which American demographic the powers that be think they're appealing to with the now decades-old model of "put two people everyone's mostly aware of on stage and make them do comedy regardless of their actual chemistry or experience" but at this point I think it is probably safe to assume this this cruel and occasionally successful experiment being performed on us will have no end. Luckily, tonight's actually good Emmys bit came courtesy of Maya Rudolph and Ike Barinholtz, who presented the award for Best Lead Actor in a Comedy Series... having, per the bit of it all, had LASIK eye surgery just hours previously.

Tag yourself: I'm Micky Two-Times. Rudolph's ice-cold, perfect delivery of "and Ted Danson" for her The Good Place co-star is a close runner-up though. Stay tuned for more bits from this year's Emmys.
