Maya Jama wears stunning natural curls to sit courtside at basketball game – and wow
If anyone can usher in the UK's courtside glam era its Maya Jama. Please Maya, please. For too long we've watched the iconic fashion and beauty moments of celebs sitting courtside at the Lakers or the Knicks games in the US, that perfectly balanced combo of casual meets fashun. But Maya really said, who needs Madison Square Garden when you have the Copperbox Arena.
The London Lions took on Paris Saint-Germain last night in London and Maya was in the best seats in the house along with broadcaster Julie Adenuga and rapper Jammer BBK (an iconic trio). Maya has been courtside at many NBA games, so of course she nailed *the look*, dressing up black leggings with croc skin boots and an XL hooded leather coat. But the real scene stealer in this sports luxe appearance, is her stunning natural hair.
Not one to shy away from her natural curls throughout her career, we have been seeing more updo's and straight styles from Maya of late and it's such a treat to see her gorge curls in their full glory.
In the carousel, Maya can be seen cheering on the Lions, beaming with her pals. I've been squinting, tilting, and holding my laptop upside down to try to clock if there are extensions giving that enviable mane some of it's incredible length and body, but I honestly think it's all her hair and wow.
Might just have to book tickets to their next big match to channel this look, too.
