If you have your finger on the fashion pulse, you no doubt know February is Fashion Month. We've spent the past week in New York (virtually, at least) with the likes of Emily Ratajkowski and Irina Shayk impressing on the runways at Michael Kors, Tory Burch and Carolina Herrera – and Julia Fox and the rest of the street style set impressing in between shows. And now it's London's turn, with fashion editors, models and celebs all flocking to the UK capital.

Kicking things off was the Harris Reed AW24 show last night [Thursday 15 February]. The designer is a favourite on the red carpet, with Florence Pugh in particular a long-time supporter and often opting to wear his designs. Unfortunately, the A-List actress didn't make an appearance due to the Dune: Part Two Lonodn premiere taking place at the exact same time, but there was still an equally star-studded FROW despite her absence.

Namely, Maya Jama who stole the spotlight in her stunning look for the evening.

The Love Island host wowed in a black velvet gown that featured a peplum hem, extra-long train and a thigh-high leg slit. But it was the addition of a metal bustier at the bodice that really elevated the dress into show-stopper territory, serving gladiator chic in the process. With her hair styled down in loose touselled waves, Maya was effortlessly channelling Gal Gadot's Wonder Woman in the look.

Black barely there strappy sandals and gold stud earrings completed the look. And, despite routinely stunning in see-through dresses and cut-out designs we think this might just be our favourite-ever Maya look.

Maybe a presumptuous thing to say given we're only in February and at the very start of Fashion Week. Here's hoping she keeps raising the bar!
