Maxine Waters proves she’s the queen of shade in this tweet about the Alabama Senate election

Democrats nationwide have been celebrating since one of their own, Doug Jones, was named the new Senator-Elect of a ruby red Alabama. But Rep. Maxine Waters was especially excited last night.

The California congresswoman took to Twitter to share her thoughts on the Roy Moore loss, and she did not hold back against Moore, or even President Trump.

“How many diet cokes did Trump consume while he gulped and waited for the defeat of his pedophile candidate??” she tweeted with the hashtag #swishswish. She was poking fun at the President’s apparent obsession with the soft drink after a recent New York Times profile claimed he drank up to 12 cans of it per day.

Moore was a controversial candidate from the start, but accusations that he pursued and sexually harassed teenage girls was too much for many in Alabama.

Never one to hold back, Waters wasn’t done with the shade.

“Fox News, why are you so damn quiet now?” she tweeted. “Knowing everything, lying on everybody, bullying everybody, claiming to be holy, righteous and loving America more than anybody else. Speak up now – admit you just got your butt kicked royally and MORE to come.”
