Max Mara Atelier Fall 2023

No arty inspirations were involved this time, reflecting the practical needs of today’s women and their desire for timeless and functional designs.

Aimed at reinterpreting the classics with modern volumes and high-end fabrications, the concise range included staples such as the trenchcoat in double cashmere or reworked in supple black leather; the Crombie style doubled with camel hair; a navy peacoat and a feminine redingote. A shearling cape had an urban-chic edge, while a giraffe jacquard coat injected a touch of eccentricity into the polished collection.

Rendered in a restrained palette of sophisticated hues — such as white, tan, brown, gray, navy and black — the focused assortment respected the brand’s understated elegance while covering the tastes and demands of a wide demography of women.
