Max Ehrich Goes Off on Instagram, Tells Fans to Stop Trying to “Thank U, Next” Him

• Max Ehrich made a public declaration of love to Demi Lovato as he claims she hasn’t contacted him.

• Max and Demi ended their engagement last week.

Welp, Max Ehrich is out here spilling more details about his breakup with Demi Lovato in the most public way possible, which seems like a pretty big red flag in and of itself, IMHO! Over the weekend, Max hopped on Instagram Stories to claim that he heard about his breakup with Demi after reading about it in a tabloid, writing, “Imagine finding out about the status of your relationship through a tabloid. While your [SIC] in the middle of filming a biopic movie about a Pastor in a Christian Church whose intention of the film is to help people.”

He then felt the need to hop back online and double down on claims that he hasn’t spoken to Demi, saying he still loves her. “Please stop trying to ‘thank you, next’ me,” he wrote, per Entertainment Tonight. “For I’m just a human being who has to go to work tomorrow a.m. where there are families with kids relying on me. To this moment…we haven’t spoken over the phone…we haven’t even officially ended anything to each other, literally. I’m here in real time with y’all. I love Demetria and just want her to be healthy and safe.”

He went on to address Demi directly, saying, “If you’re reading this…I love you always…unconditionally…no matter what.”

Oh, and THEN he shared a bunch of posts featuring her songs and wrote, “Demetria is THEE best female vocalist alive. And everyone should know it. She inspires me every day and is an INCREDIBLE human being. I know it’s not her writing these stories, it’s a machine. I love her unconditionally.”

Demi has yet to respond but, uh, here’s the vibe from her fans:
