Mauricio Umansky Shuts Down Leslie Bega Romance Rumors After ‘Dancing With the Stars’ Dinner Date

Mauricio Umansky has been dancing his way toward the iconic mirror ball trophy on season 32 of Dancing With the Stars—and he’s shaking off relationship rumors while he’s at it. After he and his partner, Emma Slater, danced Salsa to “Quimbara” by Celia Cruz, Willie Colón, and Johnny Pacheco Y Su Charanga on October 3, the real estate mogul celebrated on a dinner date with actor Leslie Bega and his parents. His mom documented the whole thing on Insta because...why wouldn’t she?

Leslie, who’s appeared on shows like The Sopranos, also shared her own post in support of the DWTS contestant. “✨DANCING WITH THE STARS✨ Supporting Mauricio tonight on Latin night! 💃🏻🕺🏻,” she wrote in her caption.

Fans began speculating that Mauricio had romantic ties to Leslie after catching a glimpse of these posts. Following his DWTS performance on October 10, he took a moment to address the rumors, which surfaced amid his separation from Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Kyle Richards.

“There’s just nothing there,” Mauricio told E! News. “This whole story is so crazy. There’s nothing to talk about there.”

Once he debunked that dating rumor, another one already came bubbling up. A TMZ report suggested that while Leslie isn’t romantically linked to Mauricio, she might be dating his dad. 🥴

“She had tickets, she invited him, but that is not his girlfriend,” Mauricio said during his E! News interview. “She works at The Agency,” he added, explaining that she is a realtor at his company.

As for where he stands with Kyle, Mauricio confirmed that they were officially separated in his post-performance interview on October 3. “We’re trying to keep it private, but at the end of the day, we’re not private people," he told E! News. “We’re public figures and the reality is we are separated right now. We are going through a really difficult time. It’s been a struggle. We are not ready to throw in the towel. We are still working on our marriage and we’re not in a rush.”
