Eagle-eyed fans spotted Matty Healy at Taylor Swift's Nashville concert last night, May 5, further fueling rumors swirling around the two as a potential couple.

"Matty at the Eras Tour in Nash!" Jordan McDonald captioned the video she uploaded on TikTok of the "Chocolate" singer bopping during the 1989 section of the Eras Tour.

He was standing in the VIP area reserved for Swift's family and friends, nodding his head to the beat of "Shake it Off" alongside opener Phoebe Bridgers and her Boygenius bandmates Lucy Dacus and Julien Baker. Throughout the 46-second clip, he also threw his hands in the air and bent his knees as he grooved to the music, leading one commenter to joke, "Not the dad dancing hahahahha."

Ahead of the sighting, a source reportedly told The Sun that Swift and the 1975 frontman, who are longtime friends, are dating.

"Both Matty and Taylor have been touring over the past few weeks, so it’s been a lot of Face-Timing and texting, but she cannot wait to see him again," the tabloid quoted. "But as two international megastars, they understand the pressures of one another’s jobs better than anyone and are incredibly supportive of their respective careers."

They alleged that, while Swift's relationship with ex Joe Alwyn was fiercely private, she wants to "own" this one. "She's told pals Matty is flying to Nashville over the weekend to support her on the next leg of her tour," they said at the time.

Most fans were in disbelief, certain that the rumor was false, though a few expressed their concerns over the possibility.

One person even found humor in the situation, writing, "matty healy you could do the funniest thing ever and get on a plane to Nashville tomorrow."

All that aside, it was still quite the night for Swifties, as Bridgers also surprised the audience with a few songs performed with the other members of Boygenius, and the "Enchanted" songstress finally announced that Speak Now: Taylor's Version would be coming later this summer.

As far as the rumors go, neither party has addressed them directly, so it remains to be seen if the pair are together, if Healy just had the opportunity to come see his friend perform, or if they're involved in some PR ploy. Several Swifties have speculated in light of last night's announcement that Healy may end up featuring on a vault track on the upcoming re-record, which will release on July 7.
