Matthew Perry's ex-fiancée is reflecting on their love story following his death.

On Monday, Oct. 30, Molly Hurwitz took to Instagram to pay tribute to her former flame, who passed away on Saturday, Oct. 28 at the age of 54.

Alongside an artistic upload by Jen Lewis, Hurwitz—who was engaged to Perry between 2020 and 2021—wrote, "He would love that the world is talking about how talented he was. And he really was very talented."

As she continued, Hurwitz recalled one fond memory of herself and Perry, when the twosome watched several episodes of Friends ahead of the taped reunion in 2021.

"'F--k, I was so good!!!…See what I did there???'” Hurwitz recalled Perry saying, adding. "We rewound and studied scenes. Our respect and appreciation of humor is something that connected us. Being with him as he rediscovered his brilliance was magical."

However, as Hurwitz detailed, there were "complicated" aspects to their relationship. She continued, "I obviously knew that man in a very different way, too. While I loved him deeper than I could comprehend, he was complicated, and he caused pain like I’d never known. No one in my adult life has had a more profound impact on me than Matthew Langford Perry."

And for that, Hurwitz noted that she has "tremendous gratitude" for him and "everything I learned from our relationship."

She concluded her note, "I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention Al Anon, an invaluable resource for those who love someone struggling with this destructive disease. Matty, I feel relief that you are at peace."

Perry—who starred on all 10 seasons of Friends between 1994 and 2004—passed away over the weekend after he was found unresponsive in his hot tub in Los Angeles, Calif. In the aftermath of this tragic news, several of Perry's famous friends and co-stars have paid tribute to the late star.
