Friends star Lisa Kudrow just revealed a hilarious behind-the-scenes story of why Matthew Perry gave her a priceless prop from the iconic series.

When Kudrow appeared (virtually!) on Jimmy Kimmel Live on Wednesday, Kimmel asked her if she took any mementos from Friends with her. "Well, I was given one," Kudrow responds and points to a green and white cookie jar that looks like an alarm clock with a smiley face at the center. The cookie jar was, which says "cookie time," was a prop in Monica and Rachel's apartment.

When the series ended, Perry gave the cookie jar to Kudrow as a wrap gift in reference to an inside joke they had while filming. Sharing the backstory, Kudrow says, "Okay, so we were shooting a scene years before we finished, and my line was 'Oh! I better get going,' like, 'Oh! I'm late. I better get going,' except I didn't have watch." While she was shooting the scene, she realized too late that she didn't have a watch, and she had to improvise. So as she was saying her lines, she gestured to the cookie jar, which isn't actually a clock. When they were done shooting, Perry asked, "Did you point to the cookie jar, and say, 'look at the time?'"

Kimmel points out that the gift was not, in fact, Perry's to give. "I know, I think the first thing I asked was, 'This is so nice! Did you get permission because my car used to get searched every night when I left?'" Kudrow responded.

Along with the cookie jar, Kudrow also has Friends bobble heads of the core cast on display in her home. "They don't look like us, I think by design," she says.
