Matthew McConaughey Shares Shirtless Selfie While Enjoying His 'Birthday Breakfast'
Apparently Matthew McConaughey loves himself some Fruity Pebbles.
Matthew McConaughey rang in his 53rd birthday this week, and what better way to celebrate than with a big bowl of his favorite cereal?
The Dazed and Confused star shared a selfie to Twitter on Friday, Nov. 4, in celebration of the big day, where he appeared to be enjoying a sweet treat for breakfast.
"waiting all year for my birthday breakfast," the actor wrote on Twitter, alongside the shirtless pic of him diving into a bowl of Fruity Pebbles.
"I was not paid by Fred or Barney for this post...#noad," he added, in reference to the two characters from The Flintstones who are featured on the classic cereal box.
Plenty of his fans appeared to agree with McConaughey's fine taste in cereal, with one Twitter user calling the tasty breakfast snack the "best cereal ever!"
"Fruity Pebbles are alright, alright, alright," someone else wrote, in reference to the famous quote from his character David Wooderson.
"I see you're a man of class," another follower joked.
McConaughey shared another tweet to reflect on his birthday, writing, "took me exactly 53 trips around the sun to realize that right now I'm as young as I'll ever be, and as old as I've ever been, here in the honeyhole between already and not yet. Amen."
He also shared a video of himself wearing a cowboy hat while cruising on the water and singing his famous "Bless The Mood" song.
All in all, it appeared to be a pretty successful birthday for Mr. McConaughey!
