Matthew McConaughey is currently promoting his new book, Greenlights, and made an appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen to talk about it. However, instead of being asked purely about the new tome, the actor was quizzed about his recent appearance alongside Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston in the Fast Times at Ridgemont High table read.

Just last month, some seriously high-profile celebs got together online to re-create the famous teen flick to benefit CORE and REFORM Alliance's coronavirus relief fund. Julia Roberts, Henry Golding, Morgan Freeman, John Legend, and Shia LaBeouf all took part, but the highlight of the event was Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt's onscreen reunion.

During his appearance on Watch What Happens Live, McConaughey was asked if he could sense any "sexual tension" between Pitt and Aniston during their scene. He drily replied, "Could I feel the heat through the screen of Brad? So palpable. Yeah, yeah, it was so palpable."

Laughing about the question, McConaughey astutely added, "I noticed that after that a lot of the topics were about that, or about them. No, I actually didn't notice anything through the screen, but that made for a good topic the next day."

McConaughey has been sharing his journey to becoming an author on Instagram, and recently posted a photo of some of his original writing. The Oscar-winner wrote, "From where it started to a NY Times #1 Bestseller—Delayed gratification at its best. A big thank you from me to you for this incredible reception of Greenlights. #greenlightsbook."
