Matthew McConaughey Joked About Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston's "Sexual Tension"

"Could I feel the heat through the screen of Brad? So palpable."

We all got front row seats to Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston's onscreen reunion last month during the Fast Times at Ridgemont High live read, but perhaps no one had a better seat than Matthew McConaughey, organizer of the scene that got millions of hearts fluttering.

McConaughey, who put together the live read, was on Watch What Happens Live this week, where he was asked about whether or not he witnessed the "sexual tension" everyone else seemed to see between the famous exes.

"Could I feel the heat through the screen of Brad? So palpable. Yeah, yeah, it was so palpable," he joked, adding, "I noticed that after, that a lot of the topics were about that, or about them. No, I actually didn't notice anything through the screen, but that made for a good topic the next day."

During the live read of Fast Times, Pitt and Aniston read a steamy scene narrated by Morgan Freeman. Aniston's character starts by saying, "Hi Brad, you know how cute I always thought you were, I think you're so sexy. Will you come to me?"

Despite everyone losing their collective shit, Pitt and Aniston appear to be just friendly exes who sometimes attend each other's birthday parties and say hello when they run into each other at fancy award events. Still, we can't blame anyone for dreaming of a real-life reunion.
