Matt Roloff's Girlfriend Caryn Chandler Quickly Shut Down Engagement Speculation
Little People, Big World star Caryn Chandler celebrated the arrival of Zach and Tori Roloff's daughter, Lilah Ray Roloff, with an Instagram post.
The Arizona native responded to a comment about possibly being engaged to her boyfriend of two years, Matt Roloff.
Caryn clarified that she and Matt are in no rush to get engaged.
The Roloff family has had quite a year between all the wonderful baby news and wedding celebrations. But before 2019 comes to a close, some Little People, Big World fans were hoping for one more exciting announcement: Matt Roloff getting engaged to his girlfriend, Caryn Chandler. After spotting the speculation on Instagram though, the former Roloff Farms employee was quick to set the record straight.
Shortly after Zach and Tori Roloff introduced their newborn baby girl, Lilah Ray Roloff, to the world, Caryn shared her joy with a sweet comment on their Instagram post. The Arizona native then followed it up with her own post dedicated to the latest addition to the Roloff family.
“Sugar & spice & everything nice,” Caryn captioned a picture of her holding Lilah. “Welcome to the world baby girl ! Newest Roloff is here and I didn’t want to let go.”

The heartwarming moment was instantly appreciated by LPBW fans. “Oh, Caryn, what an adorable picture of the two of you! 💖,” one person wrote. “She’s so beautiful. So are you. Congratulations. 💕,” another person added.
But there was one particular comment that caught Caryn’s attention. “Thought I saw a ring on that left finger. 🙏,” one fan noted. Caryn responded back, “hahah. No - we r just enjoying life with no rush - I promise to let ya know if that changes tho 😘."
As viewers of the TLC reality series know, Matt was married to Amy Roloff for 28 years before the two officially called it quits in 2015. Two years later, the father of four started dating Caryn.
Matt and Caryn aside, Amy was excited to share this past September that she and her boyfriend of three years, Chris Marek, got engaged. Plus, Jeremy and Audrey Roloff are expecting a baby boy (their second child) in early January.
