Matt Jones is a popular YouTuber and professional mountain biker. One of his most popular series was when he built a large set of dirt jumps in his backyard.

Watch him on Red Bull's Just Ride Podcast explain the success of the series.

In this video, Jones responded to Rob Warner airing rumors about how lucrative the backyard series was. Though Warner had heard millions of pounds, Jones confirmed that the backyard project made him £100,000.

Jones opened up about this number not to brag, but to show aspiring riders that his is a possible career path. Jones is certainly a good example.

The Just Ride podcast is hosted by Eliot Jackson and Rob Warner, the broadcaster for Red Bull’s coverage of downhill racing. The pair called the World Cups until 2023 when Red Bull lost the broadcast.

Thankfully the charismatic duo still has a platform, and they can interview popular riders as well.
