How to Make a Matcha Latte

Matcha Latte
Makes 1 cup

You can use cow’s milk, soy milk, or coconut milk in this recipe, but we think the slightly sweet flavor of almond milk pairs best with the savory matcha.

1 tsp. matcha powder
1/4 cup boiling water
3/4 cup unsweetened almond milk
Honey (optional)

Sift matcha powder into a large cup. Pour boiling water over the powder and whisk until dissolved, 10-15 seconds. Add honey, if using.

Meanwhile, warm the almond milk until just boiling. Remove from heat and whisk vigorously until a nice froth forms on top. Pour into cup with matcha, topping with some of the froth. Enjoy!
