A Massive Karaoke Bar Is Coming to the Las Vegas Strip

This isn’t your typical karaoke bar. Now, you can sing your heart out in ultimate luxury.

According to Eater, a new, high-end karaoke lounge called Kamu Ultra Karaoke will be coming to the Las Vegas strip in February 2020.

“Karaoke has been the foundation of entertainment for the likes of imperial royalty to farmers in rural villages for thousands of years,” KAMU's General Manager, Jeffrey Kim, told Casino Journal. “Today, this form of entertainment has become wildly popular in most cultures, extending far beyond its origins. We can’t wait to bring our version of karaoke to The Strip and offer Vegas the chance to experience karaoke in pure luxury.”

The staggering, 17,000-square-foot bar will feature over 40 private lounges for guests to use for their night out, bachelor or bachelorette parties, and more. In addition, the bar will offer premium cocktails, bottle service, and a menu from chef Chris Oh, founder of Seoul Sausage Co. and co-founder of Hanjip Korean BBQ. According to Eater, the menu will feature fresh oysters, pizzas, and churro doughnut holes.

Upon entering the bar, guests can watch a digital water curtain dance and change in sequence to the songs, displaying images, patterns, and text created by tiny water droplets, Eater reported. This will be the first digital water curtain by Aqua Reign in Las Vegas, Casino Journal reported.

Wannabe pop sensations can choose from thousands of songs in Kamu Ultra Karaoke’s catalog, from the top hits to family-friendly options like "Baby Shark," Casino Journal reported. Guests may even stream their own music using WiFi or Bluetooth or use the suites for e-gaming.

The Kamu Ultra Karaoke bar will be located next to Sushi Samba at the Grand Canal Shoppes next year. For more information about the bar, visit the Kamu Ultra Karaoke website.
