Massive Great Dane's Grooming Session Looks Like an Exhausting Workout

When considering adopting a dog, there are more factors to think about than the financial commitment. You'll need to keep them feeling and looking their best, and that includes regular bathing, brushing, and/or grooming. Whether you bathe your dog at home or take them to a local groomer is totally up to you, but be sure to ask around for a groomer who has worked with your dog's breed before!

That's because not every groomer has the same set of talents. Many are experts at styling curly fur or detangling mats, but others, like SoCal's Animal Kingdom Dog Grooming, are able to handle the most massive clients. Just look at the way this groomer worked seamlessly with this massive Great Dane!

OMG--now that's a gentle giant if I've ever seen one! The groomer's washtub gives the dog even more height, and he practically took my breath away when I first saw him standing up there so regally. Even when this big dog got his bath, he maintained his elegant and gentlemanly composure. He's the definition of a good boy!

As commenter @ddps_ pointed out, he also "takes up the whole bath." It was a shock that there was any room for this dog groomer to step in the tub with him, but the guys made it work. Now that's impressive!

Clearly, this wasn't the gigantic dog's first time at @animalkingdomdoggrooming! He seemed comfortable with every step of the grooming experience, though his short coat made the process a bit quicker for him, too. Unlike dog breeds like Poodles and Poodle mixes which have continuously growing- hair, shedding dogs like Great Danes don't need a groomer's help to stay detangled. They do--however--need to stay clean! Despite the workout this big dog gives his groomer, I'm sure he'd happily see him again and again. I know I would!
