Update, October 8, 2020, 11:15 a.m. ET: Beverly Hills, 90210 fans were shocked to see Brian Austin Green revealed as Giraffe. Watch him explain the different clues that hinted at his identity all along.

By far, Giraffe is the most dapper character on season 4 of The Masked Singer. Hailing from the African savanna, this contestant is dressed in baroque fashion from the 18th century. Giraffe is the definition of class with a costume decorated in long ruffles, lace cuffs, and glasses. But who could be hiding behind such an elegant getup?

Making the most out of the initial clues, Masked Singer fans have already come up with a few strong theories about Giraffe.

Who Is Giraffe on The Masked Singer?

Let’s start off with the clues we know:

  • Giraffe wears a fancy wig with couture-inspired jewelry.

  • Giraffe has a cane, period-appropriate heels, and stockings.

  • This tall mammal is a whopping eight feet tall.

  • Giraffe “shares something in common with a powerful giant.”

  • Giraffe says, “America, trying to figure out my identity is going to be a real pain in the neck.”

  • In the first clue package, Giraffe revealed he’s “had a rollercoaster career full of ups and downs.”

  • Giraffe has music in his blood, but when he took a risk, he “became the butt of everyone’s jokes.”

  • Giraffe was also seen next to a $3 sign and driving a bumper car.

Best known for starring in the Broadway music Hamilton, Anthony Ramos originally had a different vision for his life. The Brooklyn native grew up playing baseball and had his eyes set on continuing to do so in college. He wanted to make his passion into a lifelong venture, potentially coaching his old high school team. But when he mistakenly auditioned for a musical and was given the lead part, everything changed. Now, the 28-year-old portrays two pivotal characters alongside Lin-Manuel Miranda, which could explain the Giraffe’s period-appropriate look.

In 1994, Fred Durst was the front man of the rap-metal band Limp Bizkit. With the help of famed nu metal band Korn, the group toured with House of Pain and the Deftones. This exposure resulted in an intense bidding war for their debut album, Three Dollar Bill, Y’All $. This may have been referenced in the first clue package with the “$3” sign. Before his musical career, Fred served in the U.S. Navy before trying to become a tattoo artist. Since then, Limp Bizkit’s songs have appeared in various movies and shows like Mission: Impossible II, The Fast and the Furious, Cold Case, and Entourage.

TV personality RuPaul was born RuPaul Andre Charles. Based off the clue that Giraffe “shares something in common with a powerful giant,” RuPaul has the same name as French professional wrestler and actor André the Giant. But if that’s not convincing enough, RuPaul is best known for being an iconic drag queen and donning elaborate costumes. The promo video also shows that Giraffe is going to bring some flair to the competition, saying, “Oh, did it just get giraffe-ty in here?” And to top it all off, RuPaul has experience dancing on stage, which ties into the contestant saying that they’re “ready to move and groove.”
