A whole new season of The Masked Singer is finally here! We're already so intrigued with all the exciting new costumes featured in season 4, but one's that definitely caught our eye is Dragon. Who could be behind this scaly, fire-breathing mask?
Chances are, you haven't quite figured it out yet (which, fair, given that season 4 just began this week). To help jumpstart your detective work, read below for the internet's best guesses and theories about Dragon.
Who Is Dragon on The Masked Singer?
Here are the clues we have about Dragon so far:
Dragon is wearing a samurai-inspired red and gold costume, along with a light blue mask with horns.
In the first clue package video, Dragon says, "If you want a hot clue to finding my identity, just look into stocks and bonds."
Dragon says that they can relate to the dragon because they "enjoy getting fired up."
Dragon also says that they have "always been a creative type."
Dragon just wants to make their "audience happy," and is there for when "someone needs cheering up."
Got all of that? Now, it's time for the guesses:
Pierce Brosnan
Currently, Masked Singer fans are making a strong case for Dragon being actor Pierce Brosnan. Why? The actor is most famously known for playing James Bond, which fans point out connects directly to the "stocks and bonds" clue. In the same clue package video, Dragon also says, "you can search every dungeon to find this Dragon's identity, but you won't pierce my protective armor" (emphasis on "pierce"). Plus, as an actor who has attended art school and has an avid hobby of painting, Pierce has definitely always been "a creative type" — not to mention, he's also had some singing experience while starring in the Mama Mia! movies.
Not convinced yet? Here's a little-known fact about the actor that ties him directly to Dragon: Pierce reportedly used to be a professional fire-eater, learning the act while attending a workshop at a theatre in London.
Elon Musk
Another top guess for Dragon is Elon Musk, the tech billionaire and engineer most famously known for being the product architect of Tesla as well as the founder and CEO of SpaceX. Fans are making a connection between Dragon's costume and SpaceX's Dragon, which recently made headlines in August as the first private spacecraft to reach the International Space Station. According to fans, Dragon's "stocks and bonds" clue could also be referring to Elon's role in Tesla stock and his fame as a business magnate, while the "getting fired up" quote could be a nod to Elon's infamous flamethrower, which the entrepreneur sold back in 2018.
