Making The Marvels cost Disney more than $270 million, Forbes reports.

In disclosed company filings, it was revealed that $274.8 million was spent, and the production banked a $55 million subsidy from the government of the United Kingdom, where it was filmed, bringing spending down to $219.8 million.

Forbes also shared that the movie will have to make close to $440 million in theaters to break even as studios only receive half of box office takings.
