Marvel is said to be thinking about an Avengers reunion.

According to Variety, sources have claimed that there have been talks to bring the original six MCU superheroes back together, though the studio has yet to commit to pursuing the homecoming.

If it happened, it would see the return of Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man and Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow, the two Avengers who met their shocking end in Avengers: Endgame—as well as Chris Evans as Captain America who passed his shield to Anthony Mackie's Falcon.

Many would undoubtedly be delighted to see the trio's return, teaming up once again with Thor, Hulk, and Hawkeye, though getting the old gang back together would be a real twist in the MCU timeline that we already know about.

Since Endgame, Chris Hemsworth has starred in Thor: Love and Thunder, Jeremy Renner's Hawkeye took over in his own Disney+ series, and Mark Ruffalo's Hulk popped up in She-Hulk: Attorney at Law.

In other Marvel-related news, MCU fans have gone wild on social media speculating that the X-Men will be making a surprise appearance in the upcoming blockbuster The Marvels, based on a new 15-second teaser trailer for the film.

The film will see the return of Brie Larson as Carol Danvers, Teyonah Parris as Monica Rambeau, and Iman Vellani as Kamala Khan.

The Marvels has a release date of November 10. Ms Marvel, Kamala Khan's debut, is streaming on Disney+.
