OG Marvel fans might be getting the ultimate surprise real soon. As per Variety, Marvel is reportedly considering bringing back the original six Avengers actors for a new film.

Sources close to the studio have said that Marvel has not committed to the idea just yet, but is taking it into serious consideration of seemingly bringing back Robert Downey Jr.'s Iron Man/Tony Stark, Chris Evans' Captain America/Steve Rogers, Scarlett Johansson's Natasha Romanoff/Black Widow, Jeremy Renner's Clint Barton/Hawkeye, Mark Ruffalo's Bruce Banner/Hulk, and Chris Hemsworth's Thor. The new information arrives after Marvel execs met in Palm Springs in September to discuss the high-profile arrest and the ongoing trial of Jonathan Majors. The team is still considering how it is best to proceed with supervillain Kang the Conqueror and whether or not they should recast the character entirely or substitute the character for Doctor Doom.

The reassembling of the original Avengers group also comes after a subpar reaction to the MCU's Phase 4 strategy which featured Ant-Man And The Wasp: Quantumania receiving lukewarm reviews and box office disappointment. Should the return of the original six happen, the plot may involve reviving Robert Downey Jr.'s Iron Man and Scarlett Johansson's Black Widow, both of whom were killed off in Endgame. It remains to be seen how Marvel will handle the next phase.
