New Marvel Comics: Night Thrasher Returns, Scarlet Witch & Quicksilver Face A New Foe

We’re halfway through February and Marvel is getting ready to drop a new batch of comics for Valentine’s Day. However, if you’re looking for new stories celebrating love, you might have to look elsewhere. This week’s comic book lineup sees the return of Night Thrasher and a new line of Scarlet Witch & Quicksilver, among other returning favourites.

You might be unfamiliar with Night Thrasher, and Marvel knows that. That’s why Night Thrasher #1 is leaving the ‘90s behind, with Dwayne Taylor returning to New York City after the death of a loved one. When his New Warriors teammate Silhouette asks for help, Taylor must suit up again as the Night Thrasher to fight against a new criminal called The O.G.

Elsewhere, Marvel is celebrating 60 years of Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver stories, with a brand new comic run by Steve Orlando. The comic begins with Wanda burning away a letter by Magneto, with the twins facing off against the Wizard. To get through this new fight, the twins will have to work together to mend their relationship.

The Gang War storyline is at full throttle with two new comic books - The Amazing Spider-Man #43 and Miles Morales: Spider-Man #16. Even Shang-Chi is joining the fight with Deadly Hands of Kung-Fu: Gang War #3. Meanwhile, the X-Men aren’t doing so well either, with the Krakoan Age coming to its end in Fall of The House of X #2.
