New Marvel Comics: Dinosaur Doctor Doom, Deadpool, Arrive The Week

Fantastic Four Dr Doom

Doctor Doom leads the charge of new comics from Marvel this week - but it’s not just regular ol’ metalface Doctor Doom. Oh no. It’s Dinosaur Doctor Doom.

Issue 13 of Fantastic Four sees Doom ride his Jurassic namesake to save his own universe, while the dinosaur Fantastic Four (Fantastic Foursaur?) take on the Avengers. Of course they do.

New titles this week include Deadpool: Seven Slaughters #1 making its debut, as does Alien #1, Superior Spider-Man #1, and a collection of Star Wars: Return of the Jedi covers to celebrate the 40 year anniversary.

Mutant fans have a bumper crop of comics to look forward to from November 15, including Alpha Flight #4 continuing the Fall of X storyline, Cable and Bishop standing up against the artificial beings in Children of the Vault #4, an unlikely romance in Uncanny Avengers #4, a Spider-Man reunion in Astonishing Iceman #4 and the conclusion of the Dark X-Men’s confrontation with Orchis in Dark X-Men 4.
