The actor was hospitalized after suffering a 'medical complication' on April 11.

Jamie Foxx is still on the path to recovery.

The Ray star remains hospitalized in Georgia a week after his daughter Corinne Foxx—who cohosted FOX game show Beat Shazam with the actor—announced on social media on April 12 that her father had suffered a "medical complication."

Though details regarding his specific condition have yet to be released, Martin Lawrence provided a minimal update on Foxx's current status on April 20.

"I hear he's doing better… My prayers go out for him every night, and just wishing the best for him—one of the best that we got in Hollywood," the Bad Boys franchise star told Extra during an interview at his Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony in Los Angeles.

"Not only one of the best entertainers, but a good person," Lawrence added.

The 55-year-old multi-hyphenate talent continues to receive medical care, with Parade previously reporting that "they are running tests and still trying to figure out what exactly happened," per intel provided to CNN.

A source also told People on April 14 that the Oscar winner was steadily improving as he continued to recover.

Foxx was in Georgia filming Netflix's Back in Action when the situation occurred.

The production has since resumed with Cameron Diaz and Glenn Close, as one stunt double and an additional photo double stood in for the Just Mercy star due to his hospitalization. He was last seen filming on April 10.

In Corinne's initial public notification, which the 29-year-old issued on behalf of the entire Foxx family, she noted, "Luckily, due to quick action and great care, he is already on his way to recovery. We know how beloved he is and appreciate your prayers," before asking for "privacy during this time."

While the Academy Award winner has never married, he is also father to 14-year-old Annalise Bishop, and has maintained that although the "traditional" relationship route wasn't for him, his daughters have always taken priority in his life.

"The pressure of me being married, I don't think we've even had conversations about it. They just love their daddy, and I just keep moving," the Soul star told GMA in 2021.
