Martha, Martha, Martha, even after 40 years in the spotlight you continue to surprise (and delight) us. On Thursday the homemaking legend revealed during a game of Two Truths and a Lie on The Ellen Degeneres Show that she has been struck by lightning three separate times. "If it doesn't kill you, I think it's good for you!" Stewart joked to DeGeneres, later explaining that it felt "horrible."

In the first instance, lightning struck an iron sink she was leaning on. "I saw the lightning go down the pipe out in my garden and then it came back up through the water and hit my right in my stomach—threw me on the floor! My [ex-husband Andrew] found me, I was alive but not very comfortable." Another time it came through the skylight. "I just attract electricity. I'm so powerful," she said, rolling her eyes.

Apparently only 10 percent of people who are struck by lightning are killed, so we have no reason to doubt her word. Just add it to the list of incredible facts about Martha Stewart, along with being a Chanel model in college, babysitting the children of Yogi Berra and Mickey Mantle in high school, dating (and dumping) Sir Anthony Hopkins, and sculpting a nativity scene in prison. Say what you will about Martha Stewart, that woman is never boring.
