Martha Stewart Is Getting Her Own Gardening Show on HGTV and We're So Here for This

From Good Housekeeping

Not that we had any doubts, but there's no stopping Martha Stewart. Over the last couple months, she's stayed busy in quarantine by baking cookies with her gardener, whipping up some Martha-ritas, and occasionally, getting a little wild on Instagram (we’ve all been there!). But with multiple big projects in the making, Stewart deserves all the fun she can squeeze in. Today HGTV announced that Stewart will have her own gardening series on the network. Not only that, but she'll also return to Chopped as a judge and headline her own holiday-themed series for Food Network.

Her new gardening series, Martha Knows Best, will follow Stewart as she completes outdoor projects on her to-do list for her Bedford farm. "I am thrilled to be partnering with HGTV on Martha Knows Best and sharing everything I have been working on at my home during quarantine," she said in a statement. "The show focuses on many aspects of everyday living and home keeping with the goal to teach and inspire viewers to incorporate what works for them into their own homes." While the show is still very much in the works, HGTV says that it is "tentatively scheduled to air in 2020."

In terms of Stewart’s return to Chopped and her holiday-themed show, further details have not yet been released, but we'll keep you updated.

On Tuesday, Stewart shared a glam shot of herself in the garden while hinting at her new show. "We are working on a new HGTV garden show. Hush hush!," she writes in her caption. Not only did fans seem excited that Stewart was coming to HGTV, but that the network was going back to its roots, literally. "Excited about the new show. You just made my day!!!! Time to put the 'garden' back in Home & Garden TV," one user wrote in the comments. Another fan chimed in "HGTV is bringing the garden back to its network and it involves Martha! Best news ever!!"

Excited to see Stewart pull out some weeds and share her best tips? We sure are! While we wait for Martha Knows Best to air, we’ll just be shopping her new brand shop at Wayfair.
