Prints are bold, fun, and exciting. Some may even call them daring, but what if I told you there was a pattern that was super easy to wear? One that takes little to no effort and looks great on all ages and body types? Well, there is.

Please welcome paisley print to the chat. Made up of butas, a teardrop shape that spirals at the end, the motif is often mixed with florals, dots, and sometimes even starbursts to create an exciting yet relaxing design. The classic pattern first became popular during the ‘60s and ‘70s when bright colors and trippy designs were all the rage, and the bohemian design has officially resurfaced thanks to Martha Stewart.

6 Paisley-Printed Spring Picks

While visiting the Cle de Peau spa at Bergdorf Goodman, New York City, Stewart wore chocolate brown leather pants, a streamlined gray blazer, and had a multi-color paisley blouse peeking out from underneath. I’m taking this as Stewart’s official sign to start dressing for spring, being that the pretty print is whimsical and carefree, much like the laid-back season.

Stewart isn’t the only one opting for paisley. Eva Longoria, Jennifer Lopez, Gigi Hadid, and even Kate Middleton have sported the style in years past — and incorporating the bandana print into your own seasonal wardrobe is just as easy.

Melloday Metallic Paisley Ruffle Hem Dress

Perhaps my favorite paisley-adorned style is this ruffled hem dress from Melloday Metallic. On sale for $50, the partially-lined gown includes a front and back V-neckline, waist-accentuating seams, hidden zip closure, and an ankle-grazing length. Though the most standout feature is undoubtedly the glittery threads that shimmer against the mustard-yellow hue.

Wdirara Patchwork Paisley Denim Pants

For a more casual option, consider Wdirara’s patchwork denim pants. The high-waisted bottoms come in sizes extra small to large and incorporate a straight leg, slightly slouchy fit, and courageous black and white color scheme. Keep the pants laid-back by opting for sneakers and a baby tee, or dress them up with strappy Stuart Weitzman heels and an off-the-shoulder blouse from Reiss.

Vera Bradley Glenna Satchel Purse

Amazon

We can’t talk about paisley prints without mentioning Vera Bradley. The colorful brand offers a quilted Glenna satchel that has nearly 3,600 five-star reviews on Amazon and shoppers calling it their “dream purse.” It’s spacious enough to practically hold your life (think water bottles, books, laptops, and more), includes an 11-inch handle, zip closure, secret outside pockets, and is machine washable. I get the hype, and let’s just say I’m adding one to my cart as we speak.

Zeagoo Button-Down Paisley Top

For a spot-on Stewart look, snag Zeagoo’s paisley top. The pink blouse is offered in small to double extra large and comes in a cotton- and linen-blend material that’s lightweight on the body. Leave it open for a laid-back look, or button it up for a sophisticated ensemble.
