Usually at this time of year we’d be buying a poppy from shops, train stations and street corners to honour Remembrance Day. However, this year, with the pandemic, a different approach has to be taken and this is where M&S comes in.
To honour all of those who served and sacrificed in the British Armed Forces, Marks and Spencer has collaborated with The Royal British Legion on its new The Poppy Collection.
The Poppy Collection is a 12-piece line, which includes accessories for men and women emblazoned with poppy motifs, or in the shape of the Remembrance Day emblem.
The range features everything from classic poppy brooch designs, to earrings, bracelets, cufflinks, socks, ties and more.
Prices range from £3.50 for a pair of Poppy Cotton Socks, up to £25 for the men’s silk tie, which is navy blue with a red poppy print.
All profits made from The Poppy Collection will be donated to The Royal British Legion and Poppyscotland.
M&S first collaborated with The Royal British Legion back in 2009, and over the past 11 years, it has raised more than £8.6million for the charity.
The Royal British Legion aims to support members, veterans, their families and dependants of the British Armed Forces.
